Poong Pang is a stringed musical instrument of striking branch for children. The Poong Pang is used to perform as solo and accompany children’s song.

The Poong Pang consists of 3 hornless bamboo sections (there are nodes at two ends), 50-53 cm in length and about 3-4 cm in diameter. Each section has a string which is separated from its body. Each end of the string has a piece of bamboo or wood to make the bridge. When performing, children strike the strings with stick to make a very pleasant harmony.
