Is there any viable solution for textualizing the gong music of the Central Highlands?

SUMMARY: There have been significant advancements in the preservation of the gong music of the Central Highlands, ranging from electronic recording, audiovisual documentation (dynamic-static), to the textual representation of sound signals on music sheets (single-line notation) and score. Among them, the method of musical notation on a five-line staff is widely used. Considering the methodology, we can use one method to address multiple issues, or conversely, use multiple methods to address a single issue. Based on this characteristic, this article proposes several alternative notation methods to serve the purposes of research and education, especially targeting non-specialist groups such as students in pedagogical fields or students in Ethnic Boarding Schools..
