SUMMARY: The article expresses the author’s opinions regarding a recent phenomenon emerging in contemporary music that is geared toward the youth and has proven its favorable influence on the public’s taste. Traditional elements, folk materials such as literary works, historical themes, folklore elements, folk beliefs, traditional music, etc., are explored to create music products in various formats (music video, lyrics, audio). Those are encouraging signs, which contribute to honoring and cracking the barrier to appreciate the unique values of traditional arts for the young generation.
