SUMMARY: The article presents studies and summing-up given by the author Nguyễn Quang Long after more than one year conducting a survey of digital music. In addition to generalizing the musical life, the author also gave subjective judgements on popular songs of the youth today. The popular songs are rich in the themes of composition, music color and materials, the method of composition, and the reception of new music trends. The author also asserts that despite limitation, the youth who works with music does not ignore the social issues and shows responsibility to the communities and homeland.
